My Story

I am a U.S. Air Force veteran and proud to have served. My journey with mental health
began by observing my fellow brothers and sisters in uniform struggle with their mental
health. Once discharged from the military I decided to return to school and become a
mental health professional. I not only want to assist the military population, but my
community as well.

I chose to be a Marriage and Family Therapist because I believe in the relational and
systemic connection every individual has with others. The issue or difficulty is not
concentrated just on the individual, but in their environment and anyone they interact
with. I began my path with Medical Family Therapy because I understand the
importance of collaborating with other health professionals offering a complete model of
care in which an individual has a team working for them. My therapeutic modalities are
systemic and evidence-based. I work hand in hand with my clients while recognizing
they are the expert of their lives while I furnish tools to assist with change, healing, and
growth.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and bulldog. I enjoy
traveling and learning about different cultures around the world. I like to participate in
yoga and strolling around farmer’s markets. I love to teach and mentor future mental
health professionals. Our lives consist of interactions, experiences, purpose, growth,
connection, and I would be honored to take that journey with you.
